I don't know what came over me to buy this. I thought it was a purple I guess. I don't know, sometimes I have color problems it seems. But before you take this post negatively(I'll admit it is sounding like it) I suppose I should say that I actually like this color. Surprising!
Essie Lady Like is a neutral which is why I don't know why I bought it. I'm not usually one to wear neutrals because I am literally the whitest white person ever. I gravitate towards bright colors and I'll admit I wasn't even going to put this color on. My friend technically picked it when I gave her a few options for what I should put on my nails.
Anywho, I put one coat of this on my nails, and again I will admit I almost took it off after the first finger. After the first coat was on I was like 'I need to do something to this so I'll like it'. So glitter it was! After the second coat I put a coat of Wet n' Wild Hallucinate over it. And just like that I actually liked the color! It's amazing what glitter can do!
I couldn't get a decent pic of the glitter from my phone and I would use the camera but the batteries were dead and I couldn't find the batteries. But I do have a pic of just Lady Like. Even after a few days I still like this color. It's really growing on me.

I have a few questions...
I ended up cutting all my nails back down :( I know, I've turned into one of those girls that cries when she breaks a nail(although i don't cry, it's more getting mad and depressed). But hey, it takes a while for them to grow back! Which brings me to my first question.
What do you guys use when your nails break? Do you just let them grow or do you use the special polish? I've tried a few and I'm not entirely sure if they worked because I put polish over it and never took it off and 'repeated steps blah blah blah for 10 days'. It just feels weird to not have polish on all the time. Should I just get over it and follow the directions or not bother and just let my nails grow?
I also have nails that peel. I again, tried the special polish. Still couldn't tell you if it's worked because I didn't fully follow the directions. But I can tell you that they still peel. What can I do to get them to stop? Is it because I always have polish on?
One last question, this one is for my mom. Her nails have been breaking really far down. Like REALLY far. To tell you the truth I'm glad it's happening to her and not me because then I really would be a girl that cries when her nails break. They don't break all the way off but enough so that when she pulls her fingers through her hair it gets caught. Is there something she can do to repair the break so it doesn't rip off her nail? What could she possibly be doing that would cause it? Has anyone else had this problem? I just feel bad for her and want to help.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I also have half a post done at the moment. I just have to put more batteries in the camera so I can get a good picture of my nails. Maybe this weekend?

Halloween Nails
So I did these a few weeks ago. I don't know why I did them so early but I guess it's kind of a good thing because now I have something to add here. :)
A candy corn, tombstone, frankenstein(the color that doesn't photo right. in person it is more green.), spider web, and jack-o-latern. This was also the first time I used Zoya Kimmy which was a little weird color wise here but in my Blue's clues nails it was normal so I don't know what was wrong with me.
Here are the webcam pics of my friend's Halloween nails:

Black with orange tips, frankenstein with a different green, and a candy corn.
This one's a little far away but it's a jack-o-latern that I kinda messed up so it's a vampire jack-o-lantern, candy corn, frankenstein, a mummy made with toilet paper, and a ghost.
Hey Everyone!
My nails are back! Well kinda...they were. I had every intention of trying a new polish and kinda reviewing it here. I got my nail caught on something so I went to my tackle box to grab a nail file so my nail wouldn't beak. I have a love/hate relationship with my tackle box. Sometimes it opens easily and sometimes it is more difficult. Last night it was difficult and i broke a nail. :(
Now I'm probably going to cut them all back down again. I'm so totally bummed beccause they just barely got back to the length i like and they were all the same length. So frustrating!
But I have a post that I'm pretty sure I didn't put on here a couple weeks ago so I can put that up after this. Plus I hung out with my friends last weekend and did Halloween nails so I can add those on too. The pics are from a webcam though so they're not the best.

NAIL TIME!!! ;)
OMG! These nails are my total favorite nails I have ever done! I LOVE LOVE LOVE them! They are so adorable and I can't stop looking at them. I really hope they last until Friday so all the little kids at banking can see them *fingers crossed*.
Mail Box, Blue, Thinking Chair, Steve's sweater(I'm not a Joe fan at all), and a Blue's Clue. :D

Sinful Open Seas
A few weeks ago now I broke a nail so I clipped them all and decided I was going to do some swatches/reviews. I wanted to use a color I hadn't used yet so I went with Sinful Colors Open Seas. Great color! I love it! It's a great fall green. Although, it was a little weird. I don't know if it was just me or not but it seemed like the color changed. It would be green one time and then the next time you looked at it it looked blue, and the pictures didn't help. A took so many pictures and none of them captured the right color.
The polish went on nice and it only took the standard two coats for full coverage. Here are two pics that hopefully can give you an idea of what the color looks like:

This one looked too blue to me. In person the color is more green like in the next picture.
This pic is a tad blurry but it shows the green of the color.

My Rite-Aid Haul
Oops! I fell asleep and forgot to add my Rite-Aid haul post like I said I was going to. Then I went to my friend's soccer game and a volleyball game that was raising money for breast cancer and it was late when I got home. But I had fun and I have something I forgot to do last time I was with my Friends to show after my haul.
Ok back to my Rite-Aid adventure! My mom printed out a coupon for $2 off an Essie fall shade. I didn't even know Rite-Aid had Essie before that so I was all excited for my first Essie (keep in mind this was the whole reason we went to Rite-Aid). Then when we got there I couldn't find them and I was all sad but then my mom found them hiding in a corner (the good stuff is always hidden). I don't know why but I looked down...and FLIPPED OUT! Rite-Aid has Sinful Colors!!! My mom had never heard of them so I think I scared her a little bit. I spent quite a bit off time trying to pick which colors to get. I ended up getting two but believe me I will so be getting more!
While I was flipping out over some Sinfuls my mom was looking at some Wet n' Wilds. We both like bright colors so I can always count on her to pick out some good ones. After I had calmed down a bit I looked at the Revlons. I always look but never get anything because they usually only have pinks and reds, but this time I saw a light blue. I wish I got another one because they were BOGO 1/2 off but oh well.
Here's the pic of what we got. And it all started with a coupon for Essie...
Wet n' Wild Wild Shine Sunny Side Up, Wet n' Wild Fast Dry Teal of Futune & free top coat, Sinful Colors Paradise & Open Seas, Wn' Wild Fast Dry Sage in the City, Essie Lady Like, & Revlon Blue Lagoon. My mom tried the Sunny Side Up and it wasn't her favorite, and from what I saw from Sinful Paradise and Revlon Blue Lagoon when I sponged them for my jeans mani they definitely have potential to be some favorites in my collection. Oh! I totally forgot! I also ordered 5 more Zoya's with the free shipping code that should be here in a few days for look forward to a post of those!
I broke a couple nails yesterday :( so I'm thinking I might just cut them all and maybe do some swatches till they grow out again.
Oh! And I have a pic of what I did on my friend's nails yesterday! She took it on her webcam but you can still see the design pretty much. She loves my french nails but she likes having colored tips instead of the traditional white. Last time when I did her nails I did blue tips and forgot to take a pic, but this time she wanted red so I did red tips with a little design.
